Michael Henson brings over two decades of senior technology and operations leadership across some of the world’s most prominent financial institutions, including Barclays Capital, Deutsche Bank, Standard Chartered, LCH and NatWest Group.

Across these roles, Michael has led front office and financial markets technology at scale, run mission-critical clearing platforms and consistently operated at the intersection of complex technology delivery and large-scale operations.

Having joined Genesis in 2021, Michael was appointed to the Executive Committee as Chief Delivery Officer in 2026. In this role, he is accountable for the delivery of all client outcomes globally, including ownership of the DevOps and Support functions.
