The project consists in develop and implement an Electronic Trading Platform for variable-rate securities so to promote transparency and competitive bidding in the Global Variable Rate Markets. Instruments can be traded through a primary and secondary trading protocol. Primarily all instruments on the platform are reset on a weekly basis, at which point investors can place bids and offers to buy and sell portions of the amount in question. The secondary protocol allows holders of securities to offer any security they own through the platform or tender between the weekly resets. The platform also allows the capture of bond’s information to fill in the security master.
