Stephen believed there had to be a better way to develop, deliver, support and maintain software after his career leading technology and electronic trading teams. The vision of Genesis is to reinvent application development in financial markets by supercharging developers and replacing the buy vs. build challenge with a buy-to-build paradigm.   

Prior to Genesis, Stephen graduated with a 1st in BSc Computer Science and has held senior strategic business & “C-level” technology positions for some of the world’s leading investment banks including Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch, HSBC and BTG Pactual.

During his career, he has lived in New York, São Paulo, Hong Kong and London, where he has been able to experience the diverse cultures around the world as well as the nuances of working globally.
