FX Options

Overview

The FX Options (FXO) solution offers an advanced FX and derivatives trade blotter that integrates trade capture, analytics and risk calculations from multiple third-party systems.

Industry Challenges

Disparate Platforms: Disparate, outdated platforms hinder innovation and expansion.

Difficulty in Pricing Complex Products: Challenges in modeling and pricing derivatives such as FX options and more complex structured products, like balance guarantee swaps, via third-party platforms.

Fragmented Trade Capture & Workflows: Trades are often recorded in multiple, siloed systems, leading to duplication, errors, and inefficient workflows.

Lack of Real-Time Risk Visibility: Risk calculations are often delayed or siloed, making it difficult to assess exposure in real time.

Data Inconsistency Across Systems: Inconsistent or incompatible data across systems leads to reconciliation headaches and reporting issues.

Pressure for Regulatory Compliance: FX derivatives are under increasing regulatory scrutiny, requiring accurate, timely reporting and strong risk controls.

User Benefits

Trade Capture & Workflows: Provides a unified trade blotter that consolidates data across systems, improving accuracy and workflow efficiency.

Data Connectivity: Immediate data connectivity enhances operational functionalities.

Symbiotic Relationship with Third-Party Platforms: Harmonizes data across third-party systems, ensuring a single source of truth for trading and risk.

Independent Release Cycles: New Genesis-based innovations can be deployed without being tied to a third-party platform’s release schedule.

Regulatory Compliance: Supports better audit trails and consistent data that can be used for compliance and reporting.
